I’m just a girl looking at a salad and wishing it were a salmon and cream cheese bagel. I’m also just a very average looking Jewish girl on the a quest to find the best nose plastic surgeon in town.

Jewish culture is a funny thing, while I have no problem eating calamari and prawn; pig is just out of the question? Why is that? Why do I have no problem wearing pants on a daily basis, but the minute I step into a religious space, I feel uncomfortable?

Follow my journey as I uncover and explore Jewish life in Cape Town through food, culture, heritage, women and fashion while simultaneously finding that perfect cuppa coffee at the right price.
